Ho-Jun received his Ph.D. in Medical Engineering and Medical Physics from the Harvard/MIT Health Sciences and Technology program as a Samsung Scholar. Ho-Jun previously developed a paper-based colorimetric assay for rapid and sensitive detection of a significant foodborne pathogen, Staphylococcus aureus, resulting in a highly cited publication and a patent granted in the U.S., South Korea, and China. Ho-Jun also led the development of DxLab's core platform technology and its FDA authorization for point-of-care COVID-19 testing.
